POSITION: Cyber & Information Security Audit Manager

Job Summary

As the Cyber and Information Security Audit Manager, you will support the Head of the CISA Unit in delivering independent and objective assurance over the Bank’s cyber and information security governance, risk management, and control environment. Your work will ensure that security risks receive proper identification, assessment, and reporting. Moreover, you will align your efforts with regulatory requirements, international standards, and the Bank’s risk based audit methodology.

Key Responsibilities

Your role encompasses a wide range of critical functions. Here is what you will tackle:

Audit Planning & Execution

  • You will develop and execute risk based audit plans covering cyber security, IT infrastructure, applications, and data security.
  • Conducting audits of information security governance, network security, cloud environments, digital banking platforms, and emerging technologies falls squarely within your domain.

Compliance & Risk Assessment

  • You will evaluate compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Assessing vulnerability management, incident response processes, and disaster recovery frameworks will be part of your regular rhythm.

Controls & Recommendations

  • You will review user access management controls and privileged access monitoring to identify weaknesses.
  • Identifying control gaps and providing practical, risk based recommendations will drive continuous improvement.
  • Preparing comprehensive audit reports ensures stakeholders understand findings and required actions.

Follow Up & Advisory Support

  • You will follow up on the implementation of agreed audit recommendations to verify closure.
  • Providing advisory support on new systems, digital initiatives, and IT projects allows you to influence security from the design phase.

What You Bring to the Role

We are looking for a blend of education, certifications, experience, and deep knowledge. Here is what you need:

Educational Foundation

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Professional Certifications (At Least One Required; Multiple Preferred)

  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in IT audit, cyber security, or information security.
  • At least two years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
  • Prior experience within the banking or financial services sector gives you a distinct advantage.

Knowledge Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of cyber and information security risks, controls, and governance frameworks.
  • An in depth understanding of banking IT environments and core banking systems.
  • Working knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and directives governing cyber and information security.
  • Familiarity with risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery, and third party risk management.
