The selected candidate will work as a technical lead, responsible for designing scalable data solutions, maintaining automated processes, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the development team with technical guidance. The role includes responsibilities related to data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and database architecture. The position also requires participation throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, system design, development, testing, and implementation.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable data engineering solutions using AWS cloud services
- Develop high-performance applications using Python and Scala
- Implement and manage ElasticSearch for efficient data retrieval and analytics
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering and technical documentation
- Design logical and physical database architectures
- Develop database objects, including stored procedures and functions
- Build and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the system
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to other developers
- Collaborate with stakeholders to review and approve system design documentation
- Support system modernization initiatives and infrastructure improvements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 12+ years of experience developing complex database systems
- 8+ years of experience with Databricks
- 8+ years of experience using Python or Scala
- 8+ years of experience with ElasticSearch and Kibana
- 8+ years of experience with Oracle databases
- 5+ years of experience with ETL processes and data pipelines
- 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud-based application development
- Experience with data warehousing and data visualization tools
- Knowledge of CMM/CMMI Level 3 development practices
- Experience working on large agile development projects
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and HL7 standards
- Experience implementing Agile and test-driven development methodologies
- Strong analytical and technical leadership capabilities
