2023 RTP Scholarships from the Australian Government (Fully Funded)
Applications are now being accepted for the Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarships (RTPS) for Indigenous students. The application period will run from May 1 through June 5, 2023.
Description of the scholarship:
For up to 3.5 years for a Ph.D. and up to 2 years for a Master’s, these scholarships offer financial assistance to eligible Australian citizens of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds who are pursuing their postgraduate research degrees. The scholarship is offered in all faculties and is worth $46,653 a year (2023 rate).
If you meet the requirements, it is open to current, incoming, and future students. For those who qualify, the RTPS for Indigenous students provides a fantastic opportunity to pursue their academic goals with financial support.
The Australian Government provides funding through the Research Training Program Stipends (RTPS) to assist full-time Ph.D. and Master by Research students at the University of Adelaide who are beginning or are already enrolled in a higher degree by research program.

The grants are distributed as part of the Major Round and Mid-Year Round of scholarship applicants (pending funding). Applications must be submitted through the online application form once it is available.

The Australian Government Research Training Program Fees Offset Scholarship, which entitles the holder to up to four years of full-time fee funding for a doctoral degree or up to two years for a master by research degree, will be awarded to all qualified domestic students who enroll in a higher degree by research program at the University of Adelaide.
