Applications for the Melbourne Overseas Internship Grant are welcome from international students.
Concerning The Internship Grants
Students completing an internship in their home country as part of an established university work-integrated learning program are eligible for Melbourne Overseas Internship Funds, funded by the Victorian Government through the Study Melbourne International Education Resilience Fund.
Details of the Melbourne Overseas Internship Grant

Candidate Countries
Students having citizenship in China, India, Malaysia, Singapore, as well as Vietnam who are enrolled in a participating faculty are eligible to apply.
Eligibility
You must If you wish to be considered for this scholarship
- First of all be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate coursework program at the University of Melbourne in one of the participating faculties (such as the arts, sciences, architecture, building & planning, engineering, or information technology).
- Secondly, a citizen of Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, China, India
- Also, be completing the internship in your country of citizenship and enrolled in a work-integrated learning course as part of your degree in Winter 2022, Semester 2, 2022, Summer 2023, or Semester 1 2023. (you must upload a faculty approval letter or email as part of your grant application)
- Before June 2023, internships must start in order to qualify for grant money.
- Last but not least, have not previously been awarded a Melbourne International Internship Grant
In accordance with the receipt of applications, grants will be given out.
Benefits
- Those that are chosen will be given a $2,000 lump sum.
Conditions
- To begin with, you need to get permission from the professor and enroll in the internship course for which you were given the award.
- After receiving the prize payment and your internship is delayed or terminated by anyone, you need to get in touch with Stop 1 right once. You might have to give the money back.
- Also, when a scholarship report is requested, you must give it, as well as authorization for the university to give the donor of your grant the report, your name, as well as information about your courses.
- Lastly, you consent to take part in any ambassadorial endeavors the University of Melbourne requests of you.

When will I learn the result?
Grants are given out continuously. After the University of Melbourne has granted you credit for the program and you have registered for the University of Melbourne course(s) for which the Scholarship was given, payment will be made.
