Volunteers without degrees urgently needed in UK | Charity Worker Visa

We want to tell you about a great deal in the UK. When we talk about immigration, the United Kingdom is one of the places we talk about. You can move there as a student, a worker, or in other ways. One of the reasons we like to talk about the UK is that it has a very strong economy. It’s also a very big user of labor, which we’ve seen in so many fields. The UK is one of the places where international people can apply right away, even if they are not in the UK. If they get a job, they can then move to the UK.

So, under this list of different ways to move to the UK or find work there, one of the options is to do volunteer work. So, there are a number of licensed non-profit organizations in the UK that let International workers or International volunteers work there for a while. We’ll talk about one of these UK-based non-profit organizations. This group has a wide reach. They are a UK-registered charity, and they also have a special consultative standing with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

Launched in 2012. They began as a student group at the University of Kent and now operate as an international non-governmental organization in Canterbury, UK, and Africa. Books to Africa began as a Canterbury University student initiative and has developed into an international organization.

Volunteer with Books2Africa for a rewarding experience

Books2Africa is a charity that is registered in the UK (number 1152599) and has Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. The charity was started in 2012 as a student group at the University of Kent. Since then, it has grown into a widely known non-governmental organization that works in both the UK and Africa. People in the UK and people from other countries who want to join an IVP program and get a Tier 5 charity worker visa can help from home or in an office.

Benefits of volunteering

  1. Make An Impact: Volunteering to help us readcycle in the UK and improve African education is the most crucial reason. Our charity depends on volunteers.
  2. Gain Work Experience: Our volunteers receive professional training to prepare them for their duties, regardless of experience. After 200 hours, we give certificates and reference letters.
  3. Make New Connections: You can make new friends with volunteers of all ages, genders, and nationalities. To facilitate remote and office-based cooperation, we use Slack for official messaging.
  4. Enjoy Free Lunch: Our Canterbury Processing Centre volunteers who start their shift before 10 am can purchase lunch from their favorite restaurants via Deliveroo (limit £10). Bring your own food and use our tea/coffee-equipped kitchen.
  5. Enjoy Free Travel: Volunteers working at our Canterbury Processing Centre in groups of three or more can request a shared cab journey. Claim up to £10 for public transport or automobile travel to your shift.
