Urgent need for Storekeepers in Canada with salary of $20 an hour
Job Summary
We are looking for a person in Fort St. John, BC, who is enthusiastic, active, positive, and works hard to join our team as a Storekeeper. The storekeeper is in charge of making sure that products and materials are moved and handled in the warehouse according to the policies, procedures, and standards that have already been set.
They check and handle shipments coming in and going out to make sure everything is in good order and condition. Cleaning the warehouse and the area where goods are shipped and received. Together, we make amazing technology that makes it easier for everyone to get energy.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Follow all company policies, such as those about personnel and QHSE, but not just those.
- Inventory items need to be inspected, labeled, received, stored, picked, packed, given out, thrown away, and counted on a regular basis.
- Then, Accept deliveries from suppliers and make sure the items are in good shape and match the packing list and/or purchase order. If they don’t, you should report any problems right away.
- Also, Make sure that items going out of stock are packed well and come with the right paperwork.
- By optimizing the warehouse, you can make it more efficient and safer.
- Moreover, Keep the warehouse and the areas for shipping and receiving very clean.
- Make sure that policies, procedures, and standards that have already been set are followed.
- After training and getting a license, you will be able to run class 4, class 7, skid steer, overhead bridge, and jib cranes.
- Fill customer orders and package them according to the bill of lading or sales order.
- Fill out bills of lading and book carriers for shipments that are going out.
- Lastly, Help paint parts of assemblies.
Minimum requirements
- Needs a high school diploma or GED.
- +1 year of experience in the field.
- Candidates must be able to live and work in Canada without having to be sponsored.
