  • Also, people visiting the UK from Qatar will be the first to go for an ETA in October 2023. It is important to note that applying for an ETA in advance will allow visitors to travel efficiently.
  • This is because the application process will be fast and fully digitalized. This will enable the majority of visitors to apply through a mobile app. Additionally, they will as well receive swift decisions on their ETA applications.
  • In addition, the expense of an ETA will be the same as other international plans with two years of validity. This will also, allow approved applicants to visit the UK multiple times. This plan is intended to fortify border protection by examining travelers before them coming into the UK.
  • In addition, applicants will have to give biometric details and respond to a few suitability questions during the application process. This will allow authorities to collect sufficient information about people interested in UK travel. This as well will ultimately prevent dangerous people from entering the country.
