Duties of the Support Time and Recovery Worker:

  • As part of the Foundation Workers’ overall support and development program, provide communication, advice, and support to Foundation STR Workers.

  • To facilitate the effective involvement of service users with their particular person-centred care plan and the providing of feedback to their care coordinators concerning the care plan
  • Responsible for coordinating and providing information to other organizations involved in the support of service users.
  • Maintaining the recovery principles will enable and facilitate individuals to regain control, responsibility, hope, and enjoyment.
  • Using supervision and support to enable these interactions, as well as establishing meaningful relationships with service users while maintaining transparent and appropriate limits.
  • To provide consistent and practical support to service users and their caregivers in developing and maintaining independence, as well as preserving self-esteem and dignity.
  • This includes help with daily tasks.
  • To collaborate with other organizations and individuals to assist service users in meeting their overall requirements, which include education, welfare, finance, leisure, shelter, and spirituality.
