Study Abroad: BOC Sciences Chemistry Scholarship Program (grant up to $1,000)

The BOC Sciences Chemistry Scholarship Program is for academically gifted undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students who enjoy research and science.

BOC Sciences Chemistry Scholarship is available to full-time students who are studying at an accredited university with a major in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical technology, or other related scientific disciplines.

Requirements for the BOC Sciences Chemistry Scholarship Program

• Firstly, applicants have to be full-time students at an accredited university. The scholarship is open to all stages of higher education, including undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral studies.
• Secondly, the programme is open to students currently enrolled in:

1. Undergraduate qualifications.
2. Graduate or postgraduate qualifications.
3. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Programmes

• Thirdly, interested applicants must be majoring in chemistry or a related science field.
• Additionally, applicants should have a solid academic record in chemistry or an equivalent scientific discipline.
• Moreover, applicants should submit excellent applications that will be explicit about their academic interests, intended research path if applicable, and long-term goals.
• Furthermore, applicants should demonstrate their leadership skills and their involvement in school activities or community tasks.
• Lastly, applicants must submit their documents before the official application date.

Required Documents for BOC Sciences Chemistry Scholarship Program

1. Completed Scholarship Application Form

• Candidates must complete the official application form for the BOC Sciences scholarship.

2. Reference Letter

• Letter of recommendation from an appropriate person (teacher, school counsellor, community leader, etc.) as required in the attached announcement.

4. Original essay or presentation in PowerPoint

• Applicants shall prepare one of the following in accordance with the requirements supplied:

1. An original essay of 800-1000 words or
2. 10-12 page PowerPoint presentation with detailed lecture notes.

5. Evidence of Declared Field of Study or Admission

• Where appropriate, they may be required to show evidence of their stated field of study/admission to a university.
