As you may know, the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) of UAE recently stated that people who want to apply for a 10-year UAE Golden Visa will have to pay more for a six-month entry permit.
The new price for a six-month entry permit is now AED1,250.
People with talents like scientists and specialists, investors in public investments, real estate investors, entrepreneurs, top high school students, graduates of accredited universities in the UAE, graduates of accredited universities outside the country, and people who work in the first line of defense can get the Golden Visa.
How to Apply for UAE Six-Month Entry Permit?
Here’s how to apply for a UAE Golden Visa entry permit for six months:
The Rule for UAE expats:
People whose papers have been lost or stolen can enter the country with a permit.
You can apply for the six-month entry permit in a number of ways, such as through the ICP website, the UAE ICP mobile app, customer happiness centres, and Tasheel typing centres.
When the applicant sends in the application, he or she will get an SMS and an email stating that it was received. SMS and email will also be used to send all updates about the program.
The applicant will get an email with the entry permit once it has been granted.

- Doctors and Scientists
- Athletes
- Inventors
- Creative People of Culture and Art

Six-Month Entry Permit Fees
As we said above, the new price for an entry pass to the UAE for six months is now AED1,250.
But it’s important to note that the fee for a six-month entry pass now includes a number of different costs, such as AED1,000 for issuance, AED100 for the application, AED100 for smart services, AED28 for e-services, and AED22 for Federal Authority fees.

Documents Required for Golden Visa Application
For the Golden Visa application, you need a colored picture, a copy of your passport and the passports of any dependents, proof that you are eligible for the Golden Visa, and a few other things. How to apply for a Golden Visa depends on what group the applicant is in.
According to the ICP website, these are the papers that are needed for each category:
1. For doctors and scientists:
- A letter of permission from the Ministry of Health in the UAE to practice medicine (doctors);
- A copy of a valid visa; and
- Valid health insurance.
2. For athletes
- A letter of recommendation from the General Sports Authority or one of the Sports Councils, and
- A copy of a valid visa.

3. For inventors:
- Recommendation letter from the Ministry of Economy for scientists
- Valid passport copy
- Valid Health protection
4. For creative people of culture and art:
- A letter of approval from the Department of Arts and Culture in the relevant emirate,
- A copy of a valid visa
- Valid health insurance.
5. For executive directors:
- An official university degree
- Experience certificate (minimum 5 years of experience)
- Salary certificate (not less than 30,000 AED)
- Valid work contract
- Valid passport copy
- Valid health insurance
6. For doctoral degree holders:
- A copy of a valid passport
- a valid work contract
- Health Insurance
7. For pioneers of humanitarian works:
- A candidate must be a humanitarian work pioneer in one of the following areas:
- Members who have worked for at least five years in international or regional organizations or who have been great workers.
- At least five years as members of civil groups and institutions that serve the public interest or as outstanding workers.
- People who have gotten an award of thanks from a local, regional, or international group that focuses on doing good things for people.
- Volunteers with at least five years of service or 500 hours of charity work are eligible for this award.
- Humanitarian work is paid for by people who give at least 2,000,000 UAE dirhams, or the comparable amount, or more.
- The authority and the Ministry agree on all of the other types of charity work.
- A minister can also put forward people who have been leaders in helping people.
- Holding a degree from college.
- Taking care of other rules set by a government or authority.
8. For investors in public investments:
- They have to show a letter from a recognized investment fund in the UAE that says the owner has a deposit of two million dirhams.
- The investor must show a legal commercial or industrial license and a memorandum of the association that says the investor has at least two million dirhams in capital.
- To put at least 2,000,000 million dirhams into the capital of a company as a partner.
- The trader must show a letter from the Federal Tax Authority saying that he or she pays at least 250,000 dirhams to the government every year.
- He can show a letter from the Federal Tax Authority that says he is a partner in a business that pays taxes to the government and that his share of those taxes is at least 250,000 dirhams per year.
9. For real estate investors:
- Provide a letter from the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation of the respective emirate saying that he owns one or more properties with a value of at least 2,000,000 million dirhams and that the property is not subject to a loan.
- Proof that you have a place to live in the country, like a home ownership or rental agreement.
10. For entrepreneurs:
- A letter from an auditor in the UAE saying that the project’s worth is at least 500,000 dirhams.
- Give a letter from the government of the emirate saying that the project is technical or about the future and that the project owner is in charge.
- Provide a letter from an approved business incubator in the UAE to start the planned activity in the country (founder of a project).
- Valid passport copy.
- Valid Health Insurance
- Proof that you have a place to live in the country, like a home ownership or rental agreement.
11. For top-ranked high school kids in UAE
- Getting an A or an average of 95% from either a public or a private school.
- A recomendation letter from the Ministry of Education
12. For people who have graduated from an accredited university in the UAE
- A letter of reference from the university that says his GPA is at least 3.8.
- It shouldn’t be more than two years since they graduated.
13. For graduates of accredited universities outside the UAE
- The university ranking should not be lower than the top 100 universities in the world, according to the international classification allowed by the Ministry of Education.
- Bachelor students must have a GPA of at least 3.5.
- It shouldn’t be more than two years since they graduated.]
- Certificate from the Ministry of Education that has been approved.
14. For frontline workers:
- Frontline heroes include nurses, medical assistants, lab technicians, pharmacologists, and other professionals approved by the Frontline Heroes Office.
Application Rejections and Refunds
Applications that are missing information or aren’t full will be rejected by the authority electronically within 30 days. If an application is sent back three times because of mistakes in the data or because the applicant didn’t send the necessary papers, it will be rejected.
Fees will only be refunded if an application is turned down, and this will happen within six months of the date the application was sent in. Refunds can be sent by credit card, check, or bank transfer, but only to banks in the same country and within the last five years.
