POSITION: Driver
Job Summary
A household seeks skilled, reliable, and responsible candidates to become Drivers on their team. This position provides the chance to operate in a dynamic logistics setting, guaranteeing the secure and prompt transportation of products.
Duties
- Operate company trucks and other vehicles securely to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Guarantee prompt collection and drop-off of cargo according to company timelines.
- Follow all road traffic laws, safety rules, and company guidelines without exception.
- Perform regular vehicle checks and quickly inform about any maintenance requirements.
- Help with loading and unloading merchandise as needed.
- Keep precise delivery records and ensure all required reports are submitted punctually.
- Deliver exceptional and courteous customer service while handling deliveries.
- Carry out additional tasks related to deliveries as directed.
Required Skills or Experience
- At least a graduate of Senior High School.
- At least 12 years of driving experience, ideally in truck driving or logistics delivery operations.
- Valid driver’s license Class C and D.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing and driving trucks.
- Age group: 37 to 48 years.
- Familiarity with the road systems in Accra and considerable driving experience throughout various areas in Ghana.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving methods.
- Should be open to working variable schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
Abilities & Proficiencies
- A deep sense of duty, security, and professionalism.
- Outstanding time management, timeliness, and dependability.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to manage items with care and effectiveness.
- Fundamental understanding of vehicle upkeep and problem-solving is a beneficial asset.
