Job Duties

As a Cybersecurity Analyst at Venuiti, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Implement Security Frameworks: Utilize Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and security controls to maintain Authorization to Operate (ATO).
Ensure Compliance: Familiarize yourself with DoD Cyber Security Frameworks, including NIST and FedRAMP standards.
Manage AWS Environments: Apply your expertise with AWS and network policies to enhance security.
Utilize Security Tools: Implement application security tools like SAST, DAST, and SCA within the software development lifecycle.
Enhance Operational Efficiency: Work on improving operational efficiency for DHA and DISA in an agile tech environment.
Automate Compliance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate compliance and monitor security controls.
Conduct Security Reviews: Engage in threat modeling and security design methodology to strengthen safeguards.

Job Requirements

To excel in this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity and federal security compliance.
Technical Skills: Proficient in scripting languages like Python or Bash and experienced with RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with Tools: Experience with source code management tools such as Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
Cloud Knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure components, including VPCs, subnets, and security groups.
