A Ghanaian resident in Italy identified as Ali Shaibu has died amid the coronavirus pandemic scare – Ali Shaibu allegedly died after he fell sick and became bed-ridden for two weeks – The 24-year-old Ghanaian allegedly died on April 4, 2020.
Ali Shaibu, 24, a Ghanaian indigene resident in Italy has died after being bed-ridden for weeks at an immigrant camp in the country.
YEN.com.gh gathers that the late Ghanaian immigrant travelled from Ghana to the European country to seek greener pastures to upgrade his standard of living. In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, emergency workers were seen in COVID-19 PPE to collect the remains of the deceased amid the coronavirus pandemic in Italy which has claimed thousands of lives in the country.
According to the voice over the video shared by Suleman Abass Ridwan Maiyaki, Shaibu died on April 4, 2020. He disclosed that the young man had been sick for two weeks and they had tried to reach an ambulance, but the operators did not send a dispatch. ”This boy died this morning in Italy he is from Ghana . Please contact me in my inbox if anybody recognise him his name ALI SHAIBU,” Ridwan Maiyak wrote on Facebook along with a photo and video.
Suleman Abass Ridwan Maiyaki narrates that Shaibu had fallen sick for two weeks and remained bed-ridden but they managed to get him drugs the night before he passed away. The cause of Shaibu’s death, however, is not yet clear.
