Job Title: IT Technician

Job Description

This role is ideal for a hands-on professional passionate about problem-solving and user support. You will be the cornerstone of our internal IT function, ensuring all hardware, software, and network systems operate seamlessly to empower every department and colleague.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a wide range of technical and user-support duties:

Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and application software to ensure optimal usability for all staff.
Diagnose and resolve hardware malfunctions and software errors efficiently to minimize downtime.
Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades for the entire system environment to ensure software compatibility and performance.
Install, update, and manage antivirus and security software to protect organizational data and user endpoints.
Test and evaluate new software applications and hardware devices before deployment.
Serve as the primary point of contact for staff reporting technical issues, providing clear guidance and timely solutions.
Ensure all IT installations and setups comply with established electrical safety standards.
Repair or replace faulty hardware components, including desktops, peripherals, and network equipment.
Foster strong collaborative relationships with all departments to understand their needs and provide effective technical support.

Your Profile and Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
Proven professional experience in IT support, administration, or a similar technical role.
Strong practical knowledge of computer hardware, software applications, and local area networks.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical troubleshooting abilities.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal rapport.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
