Residents Can Now Apply for UAE Entry Permit through GDRFA
Residents of the GCC can now use an online service offered by GDRFA to apply for an entry permit to the UAE. This service is meant to make it easier for GCC citizens to visit the UAE. To apply, you just need to follow some easy steps and meet other requirements.
Dubai’s General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) has announced that it has set up an online service to give prior entry permits to travelers from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries who want to visit the UAE.
According to a recent post on the GDRFA’s official social media pages, they now have a new service that allows travelers from GCC countries to get an online entry permit before they arrive.
The goal of this service is to make sure that these travelers can get into the UAE without any problems.
Entry Permit for Residents in the GCC Countries
Residents of GCC countries, their families, and travelers traveling with them can stay in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for up to 30 days with an Entry Permit. But travelers no longer have the choice to add 30 more days to their entry visa. Instead, they must leave the country and apply for a new visa if they want to stay longer.
Conditions for Getting an Entry Permit for the UAE
To apply for the entry permit, GCC residents must meet certain requirements, such as having a legal residence permit from a GCC country for at least one year, not being banned from entering the UAE, and having a work or residency card that shows what they do for a living.
GDRFA has also laid out some requirements that users must meet in order to use the service. Here are these requirements:
- The person applying must have a valid residence permit from a GCC country for at least one year.
- There shouldn’t be any rules that make it hard for the traveler to get into the UAE.
- The job title must be on the work or resident card.
