Recycle Up Ghana (RUG) seeks to empower young Ghanaians to develop local solutions for environmental and societal problems while generating revenue at the same time. There is more than 1.2 million unemployed youth in Ghana, and we seek to bridge this gap by providing entrepreneurship education, mentoring, and support services to young industrious Ghanaians to start businesses that help solve societal challenges.
We have done this by organizing youth empowerment programs such as summer camps/schools and are now ready to scale up by launching a 6-month long incubator program.
We are currently in search of a full-time staff who will serve as Communication and Hub Managers.

- Supervise and manage hub daily operations, activities, and team members
- Develop and execute the strategy for outreach, hunting, attracting, and onboarding deserving and qualified innovative entrepreneurs, and start-ups for
- Provide support to entrepreneurs across ideation, acceleration, investment, and scale-up stage
- Ensure tight management of milestones and progress of entrepreneurs and start-up companies
- Provide continued strategic guidance to entrepreneurs in areas such as business modeling, sales, and marketing, fundraising, overall strategy, operations, etc.
- Any additional job assigned by the management within reasonable limits

- Create informative and interesting content for press releases, press kits, newsletters, social media, and traditional media
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies
- Prepare detailed media activity reports
- Plan and manage the design, content, and production of all marketing materials
- Work with different project teams to generate new ideas and strategies
- Supervise projects to guarantee all content is publication-ready
- Create communication and marketing strategies for new projects, launches, events, and campaigns
- Supervise and lead the public relations team of RUG
