Key Responsibilities

As a Loan Officer, you will manage the complete loan lifecycle for our clients. Your primary duties will include:

First, you will meet with prospective borrowers to discuss their financial needs and explain our available loan products and terms.
You will collect and analyze applicants’ financial data, including credit history, income, and employment verification, to assess their credit risk.
A core responsibility involves preparing and presenting detailed loan proposals and applications for underwriting approval.
Furthermore, you will maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the application process, ensuring they understand requirements and timelines.
You will also build and nurture relationships with local businesses, real estate agents, and community networks to generate new loan opportunities.
Additionally, you will ensure all lending activities comply with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
Finally, you will work diligently to meet or exceed individual and team targets for loan volume and customer satisfaction

Required Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of sales acumen and financial diligence:

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Proven experience as a loan officer, credit analyst, or similar retail banking role is highly preferred.
Solid understanding of loan products, lending procedures, and credit principles.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities to assess financial information accurately.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple applications efficiently.
Proficiency in relevant banking software and Microsoft Office applications.
