POSITION: Head of Secretariat
JOB OBJECTIVE
The chief administrative and operational leader of GHRASP will be the Head of Secretariat. The person will oversee the Association’s activities, promote membership expansion, increase visibility, and guarantee the efficient operation of the Secretariat.
The position reports to the President of GHRASP and works in tight partnership with the Executive Committee.
ROLE SPECIFIC
- Offer daily guidance and management of the Association’s Secretariat.
- Create and execute yearly work plans, reports, and performance updates for evaluation by the President and Executive Committee.
- Guarantee adherence to the policies, resolutions, and instructions set forth by the leadership of the Association.
- Implement strategies to grow membership from HR, recruiting, outsourcing, and payroll service providers.
- Create and implement programs for retaining and engaging members.
- Create and implement strategies to improve the Association’s presence via social media, digital channels, and conventional media.
- Form and sustain collaborations with pertinent governmental bodies, corporate entities, and global organizations.
- Assist the President and Executive Committee in advocacy, policy discussions, and representing the Association.
- Offer logistical and technical assistance to the governance frameworks of the Association.
Required Skills or Experience
- Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a similar discipline
- At least 5 years of advanced experience in overseeing professional associations, NGOs, or other comparable member-driven organizations.
- Demonstrated history of successfully managing a membership organization consisting of at least 10 institutions or more.
- Thorough understanding of HR, hiring, outsourcing, and payroll market developments.
