Role Overview

As a Forensic & Security Investigations Specialist, you will conduct complex financial crime investigations while implementing robust physical security protocols. You will coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to address fraud, misconduct, and security breaches. This position requires both technical expertise and strategic thinking to protect company’s interests across digital and physical environments.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Crime Investigation

Lead comprehensive investigations into fraud, financial crime, and employee misconduct
Document investigation findings with actionable recommendations for control improvements
Coordinate with HR and Legal departments to support disciplinary proceedings
Liaise with law enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies on criminal matters

Digital Forensics & Evidence Management

Conduct digital forensic analysis using specialized tools and methodologies
Preserve and analyze electronic evidence from systems and devices
Prepare technical findings to support legal proceedings and internal actions
Maintain chain of custody for digital evidence in compliance with legal standards

Physical Security & Risk Mitigation

Implement physical security standards through regular risk assessments
Oversee executive protection protocols and emergency evacuation procedures
Conduct branch security audits and compliance verification visits
Manage security service providers and emergency response readiness

Stakeholder Engagement & Training

Collaborate with Risk and Compliance teams on security initiatives
Deliver fraud awareness and security training programs to staff
Provide regular investigation updates to management and stakeholders
Develop security protocols in alignment with organizational objectives

Qualifications and Experience

Essential Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Security Management, or related field
5-8 years of experience in forensic investigations or corporate security
Minimum 2 years in investigative leadership capacity
Comprehensive knowledge of investigative techniques and security protocols

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification (CFE, CFCE, CPP or equivalent)
Experience with digital forensic tools and methodologies
Background in financial services or regulated industries

Technical Competencies

Advanced analytical and investigative capabilities
Proficiency with digital forensic software and applications
Strong understanding of physical security systems and protocols
Excellent report writing and documentation skills
