POSITION:  Human Resource Coordinator

This role provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department within a premier luxury hotel environment. You will manage critical processes that ensure a seamless and professional experience for both candidates and employees.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will span the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment to departure.

  • Candidate Management: Acknowledge all employment requests within 48 hours, provide personalized responses, and coordinate interviews professionally. You will also distribute CVs to department heads and ensure every applicant receives a final update.
  • Recruitment Coordination: Post all vacancies and maintain an up to date, attractive hotel page on the company recruitment website.
  • Employee Onboarding: Personally welcome new joiners, complete all paperwork efficiently, and coordinate start dates with relevant departments.
  • HR Administration: Maintain complete and accurate employee files, manage payroll data in relevant systems, and track vacation, sick leave, performance reviews, and employment anniversaries. You will also coordinate employee travel arrangements.
  • Internal Maintenance: Keep employee communication boards current and visually appealing, oversee the condition of locker rooms and the cafeteria, and ensure a warm reception in the HR office.
  • Offboarding Process: Conduct exit interviews for all departing employees and provide employment certificates on their final working day.

Required Qualifications and Expertise

  • Candidates must hold a relevant university degree, preferably in Human Resource Management. An HR professional certification is a distinct advantage.
  • Possess at least two years of experience as an HR professional. Experience in the luxury hospitality industry is beneficial.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in both the local language and in written and spoken English.
  • Have a good working knowledge of a Human Resource Information System, including implementation experience.
  • Show computer literacy in the MS Office suite.
