POSITION: Electrical and Automation Technician

Your Core Responsibilities and Daily Impact:

In this hands-on role, you will be the cornerstone of our plant’s electrical and automation integrity. Your daily actions will have a direct impact on productivity, safety, and continuous improvement.

Ensure System Reliability: Maintain and optimize all electrical distribution networks, instrumentation, and automation controls to achieve maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
Execute Advanced Troubleshooting: Rapidly diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults, meticulously interpret circuit schematics, and maintain both low voltage and medium voltage power systems.
Lead Technical Start Ups: Utilize your expertise to lead or actively participate in the commissioning and start-up of new technical equipment and automated production lines.
Drive Project Development: Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop, implement, and upgrade technical projects that enhance plant capabilities.
Apply Analytical Problem Solving: Employ strong analytical thinking to assess system performance data, identify root causes of issues, and implement sustainable, innovative solutions.
Program and Manage Control Systems: Demonstrate proficiency in programming and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers using ladder logic and structured text, alongside managing SCADA system interfaces.
Calibrate Precision Instruments: Skillfully calibrate, maintain, and repair a wide array of sensors, actuators, and process instrumentation devices to ensure automated system accuracy.
Uphold Safety Standards: Strictly adhere to and promote critical safety protocols, including NFPA seventy, lockout tagout procedures, and comprehensive electrical hazard risk assessments.
Optimize Maintenance and Efficiency: Continuously refine preventive maintenance schedules and pioneer energy-saving initiatives to reduce costs and support our sustainability vision.

Required Skills and Professional Profile:

To excel as our technical specialist, you will need a solid blend of experience, practical skills, and a safety-first mindset.

You bring a minimum of five years of direct, hands-on experience in an electrical and automation role within a fast-paced manufacturing, food and beverage, or related industrial environment.\
You demonstrate proven expertise in diagnosing electrical systems, maintaining power distribution networks, and accurately reading technical schematics.
You have direct experience with the commissioning and start-up of industrial equipment or automated production lines.
You possess a strong history of applying analytical skills to solve complex technical problems with effective, timely solutions.
You are proficient in PLC programming languages and have practical experience with SCADA systems.
You are skilled in the calibration and maintenance of various process instrumentation and control devices.
You have an impeccable understanding of electrical safety standards, lockout tagout, and hazard risk mitigation.
You are proactive in optimizing maintenance strategies and implementing projects that improve energy efficiency.
