Strategic Leadership and Coordination
- Work closely with internal program leads to identify and develop partnership opportunities that align with organizational priorities.
- Provide thought leadership on emerging trends in collaborative funding and systems change.
- Represent the Foundation at high-level meetings, conferences, and working groups.
- Prepare compelling presentations, proposals, and reports that articulate the value of strategic collaboration.
Team and Organizational Leadership
- Provide strategic direction, manage performance, and foster a highly engaged, inclusive team culture.
- Oversee financial accountabilities for the partnership cluster, including budgeting and proposal approvals.
- Develop the Foundation’s organizational knowledge and best practices in government and donor relations.
- Champion the Foundation’s mission and values, influencing stakeholders to support youth empowerment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- You are an innovative leader with a proven commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

- Demonstrate a proven track record of building cross-sector collaborations and managing multi-million dollar initiatives.
- Have familiarity with public funding mechanisms, grantmaking processes, and global philanthropic networks.
- Exhibit excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills for diverse, cross-cultural constituents.
- Possess a strong understanding of higher education or health systems, particularly within Africa.
- Show expertise in coalition building and stakeholder engagement.
- Have demonstrated financial management and strategic budget oversight experience.
- French or local language skills are a valuable asset.
This role is designed for a results-oriented leader who excels in complex environments. You must effectively inspire teams, navigate ambiguity, and employ deep listening to co-create solutions.
