The Opportunity

We are hiring a full-time Client Relationship Officer for an on-site role in Accra. This position is central to our customer-centric mission. You will serve as the primary liaison for our clients, responsible for fostering lasting partnerships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering exceptional service. You will play a direct role in helping clients secure their financial futures.

Role Description

As a Client Relationship Officer, you will manage the end-to-end client experience. Your core responsibilities will include:

First, you will proactively build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with a portfolio of clients.
You will identify and pursue new sales opportunities by understanding client needs and presenting suitable Old Mutual products and solutions.
A key duty involves providing outstanding customer service, promptly addressing inquiries, and effectively resolving any concerns.
Furthermore, you will assist clients with basic financial planning guidance and ensure all client documentation is accurate and complete.
You will also collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriting and claims, to ensure a seamless service experience for your clients.
Additionally, you will regularly engage with clients and partners to deepen relationships and uncover opportunities for added value.
Finally, you will work diligently to achieve and exceed your individual sales and service targets.

Required Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic communicator with a strong commercial focus:

Exceptional business relationship management skills to nurture and grow client partnerships.
Outstanding communication and customer service abilities for clear and effective client interactions.
Proven experience in sales, with a track record of identifying opportunities and meeting targets.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a meticulous, detail-oriented approach.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a closely related field.
