New IEC 2024: New Canada Work Permit Invitations 2024
The most recent information about the 2024 season of International Experience Canada (IEC). Another major achievement in this year’s program is the 1,818 work permit invitations that have been given as of the week ending May 11, 2024.

International Experience Canada (IEC) 2024
During the week of May 11, 2024, 1,818 work permit invitations were given out as part of the International Experience Canada (IEC) 2024 season. 1,568 invitations were issued about working holidays. There are presently 33,290 applications from 34 different countries in the Working Holiday pool.
While the International Colorado op internship category sent 81 invitations, the Young Professional category received 169. Officially, IEC 2024 started on December 11, 2023. International youth from eligible nations have since been able to submit their profiles to the IEC pool.

- Will complete this job placement or internship to complete your education.
- Will spend the entirety of your stay in Canada working for the same company in the same place.
What are the fees for the IEC 2024 Season?
The IEC costs for all competitors in the 2024 season will be 172 Canadian dollars, according to an announcement from Canada. The IEC costs change based on which immigration program you choose to apply for in Canada. Applicants for Working Holidays are required to pay a $100 Canadian fee.
Young Professionals and International Co-op candidates do not have to pay any extra fees; however, their employers have to pay an employer compliance charge of 230 Canadian dollars, and those who are required to provide biometrics have to pay an additional 85 Canadian dollars when they pay the EC fee.
