Role Overview
AECI Mining requires a Human Capital Manager to lead HR strategy and operations in Bogoso. You will guide the development of policies, systems, and people practices that support long term business success. In addition, you will strengthen relationships with employees, unions, and local communities.
This role demands both strategic thinking and hands on leadership. You will influence decision making at a senior level while ensuring smooth day to day HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will oversee the full spectrum of human resource management. You will also ensure that every initiative aligns with company standards and local regulations.
Your responsibilities include:
- Lead HR and administration functions including recruitment, retention, and performance management
- Develop competitive compensation structures including salaries, benefits, and reward systems
- Drive training, learning, and succession planning to build critical skills within the workforce
- Guide senior management on HR policies, labour relations, and workplace practices
- Manage relationships with labour unions and lead negotiations to maintain a stable work environment
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws, safety regulations, and employment standards
- Oversee payroll systems and HR technology to maintain accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate corporate social responsibility programs to strengthen community engagement
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across public and private sectors
- Prepare management reports and support audit processes within the HR function
- Manage departmental budgets and control costs to support business growth
- Lead, mentor, and develop HR team members to deliver high quality services

What You Need to Succeed

- Experience in stakeholder engagement and community relations
- Solid budgeting and financial management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and report writing abilities
