New Australian 8-Years Work Visa from July 2023 | Australia Immigration
Under the newly ratified Mobility Agreement between Australia and India, new immigration schemes will soon be available.
According to the most recent reports, the governments of Australia and India have inked a contract to encourage academic professionals and graduate students to immigrate. They can live and work in Australia and India as a result.
Indian students graduating from Australian colleges and universities will be able to choose from post-study work visa options with a maximum eight-year validity beginning on July 1.
Additionally, Indian nationals will be able to apply for the Mobility Arrangement or Talent Early Professional Scheme, popularly known as MATES, a new trial program that will allow them to live and work there.
It’s interesting to know that MATES will be available to 3,000 Indians working in the following list of professions.
- Artificial Intelligence Engineering
- Mining in the renewable energy industry
- Agriculture
- Technology
- Financial technology
- Information and Communication Technology
