About the Fellowship

What Fellows Receive
Fellows receive a monthly allowance of €2,500 throughout their stay. They also get a one-time €500 settling-in allowance upon arrival. Health, liability, and repatriation insurance coverage is included as well. However, international travel costs to France are not covered.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must hold a non-French nationality and a recent doctoral degree. The degree must come from a thesis defended between December 2021 and 2026. Applicants cannot currently reside or work professionally in France. Previous MOPGA fellowship recipients are not eligible to reapply.
Required Materials
Applicants submit a CV, doctoral certificate, and detailed research project description. A supervisor’s letter and recommendation letters are also required. A passport copy and the host laboratory supervisor’s CV complete the file.
