MAURITIUS 2023 EXPRESS PERMANENT RESIDENCE VISA FOR EVERYONE

• The permit’s primary purpose is to enable the holder to exercise their right to vote, seek office, or join the military.
• The permit also permits speedy entry and departure from the country and conserves time and effort.
• Holders of permanent residency in Mauritius are also allowed to do unlimited work but are required to follow all applicable labor laws in Mauritius.
• In addition, the cards can be used to verify identity while booking a hotel room or buying a train ticket.

MAURITIUS PERMANENT RESIDENT VISA APPLICATION PROCESS

The “Residence Permit Department” of the Prime Minister’s Office of Home Affairs, located on the fourth floor of New Government House in Port Louis, is where you apply for this permit. The applicant may choose to designate a third party to submit their petition for resident status on their behalf or submit it themselves in person.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION

• Also, Documentary proof from a bank proving that the applicant has moved from outside to Mauritius in the event of a retired non-citizen
• Besides that, a medical record signed by a Mauritius-based physician
• Lastly, Past Residence or Occupation Permits as a Retired Non-Citizen (if any).

MAURITIUS PERMANENT RESIDENT VISA COST

Each application must be accompanied by a USD 50 non-refundable application fee per individual. In addition, following application approval, a fee of USD 3,000 must be paid for the major beneficiary to receive the Permanent Residence Permit.
