A reputable Real Estate Company seeks the services of experienced and goal-oriented individuals for the following positions: Lettings Officer
Reporting To: Head of Customer Service
Summary of Job Role
Play a key role in the Lettings team by marketing properties, securing tenants, carrying out viewings, negotiating contract terms, liaising with landlords regarding rent and commission, building a network of agents and corporate clients, performing administrative tasks, and other tasks as required.
- Update and maintain the required processing and reporting systems and providing both regular and ad hoc reports on lettings progress to the management team.
- Provide consistency of office cover within the Marketing and Sales teams and carry out any
OTHER DUTIES
- Preparing and managing budgets.
- Attracting new tenants through advertising, property viewings, and encouraging referrals.
- Interviewing tenants and running credit checks.
- Setting rental rates, negotiating and enforcing lease agreements.
- Addressing tenant complaints and inspecting vacated units.
- Contracting and supervising repairs and maintenance work.
- Collecting rent, dealing with late payments, and handling operating expenses.
- Maintaining records of income, expenses, signed leases, complaints, maintenance, etc.
- Preparing reports on the financial performance of properties.
- Terminating leases and initiating eviction proceedings.
Qualification and Qualities
- Minimum qualification of HND in Sales or similar
- Experience in excellent customer service delivery Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in real estate will be an added advantage
