The Skills in Demand visa, which will replace the Temporary Skills Shortage (Subclass 482), would facilitate migrant workers’ labor market mobility with three specific approaches. Three visa stream pathways are;
- Specialized training for skilled migrant workers.
- Core Skills pathway for new Core Skills Occupation List candidates.

2. Redefining permanent skilled migration for long-term growth
The administration plans to alter the Points Test for permanent skilled immigration to identify economic contributors. The establishment of a Talent and Innovation visa for immigrants who can boost growth in key areas will also boost the economy and labor market. The Business Innovation and Invest Program will not get financing until the Government reviews the new Talent and Innovation visa under this critical clause.
3. Improving international education quality and integrity
