Role Overview

We seek a meticulous Accounts Officer to strengthen our finance team and ensure flawless financial operations. This role offers substantial growth opportunities within a fast-paced fintech environment. You will maintain precise accounting records while developing expertise in digital banking compliance and financial management.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Compliance

Maintain accurate bookkeeping and comprehensive accounting records
Execute monthly reconciliations for all bank and mobile wallet accounts
Manage petty cash disbursements following established procedures
Ensure full statutory compliance including timely filing of tax obligations
Process payroll deductions and remit PAYE, SSNIT, and withholding taxes

Financial Monitoring & Reporting

Monitor accounts payable and receivable to optimize cash flow
Track transaction patterns and identify discrepancies promptly
Support monthly financial closing and reporting activities
Assist with audit preparation and regulatory reporting requirements
Implement continuous improvement in financial processes

Qualifications and Experience

Essential Requirements:

HND or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum three years as Aan ccounts Officer or similar financial role
Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and procedures
Progress toward professional qualification (ACCA, ICA Ghana)
Strong analytical capabilities with exceptional attention to detail

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software platforms
Experience with Sage X3 or similar enterprise systems preferred
Familiarity with Google Workspace applications
Understanding of fintech or digital banking operations advantageous
