Job Title: Human Resources Manager

The Opportunity

We are recruiting a strategic and hands-on Human Resources Manager to provide comprehensive leadership for our HR function. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will strengthen performance management, elevate employee engagement, and manage the entire employee lifecycle. Your work will ensure we attract, develop, and retain high-quality talent while fostering a productive and positive work environment.

Job Purpose

The HR Manager will deliver both strategic direction and day-to-day operational excellence across all human resources activities. You will focus on building robust systems, ensuring compliance, and acting as a trusted advisor to management on all people-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

Your leadership will cover the full spectrum of HR management:

First, you will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of our performance management system to drive accountability and development.
You will conduct annual training needs assessments and develop a structured learning and development plan to build organizational capability.
A core focus involves developing and executing employee engagement strategies to boost morale, teamwork, and internal communication.
Furthermore, you will ensure all employee records, contracts, and HR documentation are meticulously maintained and fully compliant.
You will oversee accurate payroll data submission and guarantee adherence to Ghanaian labour laws and internal policies.
Additionally, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment process to attract and select top-tier talent.
You will also review, update, and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with industry best practices.
Finally, you will provide expert HR advisory support to managers and supervisors and contribute to broader organizational development initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will bring substantial HR generalist experience and a solid legal foundation:

A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
A professional HR certification (e.g., CIHRMP, SHRM, CIPD) is a strong advantage.
A minimum of five to seven years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing or corporate setting.
In-depth knowledge of Ghana Labour Laws and practical experience with performance management systems.
Proven skills in training coordination, facilitation, and meticulous record-keeping.
