Kudi Systems Ltd is a dynamic fintech startup in Ghana, developing innovative digital payment solutions through our flagship SPPay platform. We are expanding our team and seek a skilled Frontend Engineer to accelerate our product development. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for both web and mobile applications.

The position operates on a hybrid, remote-first model with occasional on-site collaboration at our Accra head office. This is a full-time role with a six-month renewable contract.

Primary Responsibilities

You will translate product vision into seamless and responsive user experiences.

Design and develop modern, responsive web interfaces using Vue 3 and Tailwind CSS.
Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications with Flutter.
Convert UI/UX designs and product requirements into high-quality, reusable components.
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate frontend applications with APIs and services.
Work alongside product managers and designers to refine user journeys and enhance usability.
Optimize applications rigorously for performance, accessibility, and cross-device compatibility.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented frontend code adhering to best practices.
Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
Participate actively in sprint planning, technical discussions, and feature delivery cycles.
Maintain comprehensive frontend documentation, style guides, and component libraries.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must have completed tertiary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. National Service completion is also required.
Possess two to three years of professional frontend or mobile application development experience.
Demonstrate strong proficiency in Vue 3, Tailwind CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
Have hands-on experience building mobile applications with Flutter.
Exhibit a solid understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
Are familiar with RESTful APIs and standard frontend authentication flows.
Have experience using Git within team-based development environments.
Show meticulous attention to detail and a passion for crafting polished, intuitive interfaces.
Previous experience in fintech or payment applications is a distinct advantage.
