Ace & Tate is hiring a Junior Financial Accountant to join its growing finance team at its headquarters in Amsterdam, Netherlands. About the Role

As a Junior Financial Accountant, you will take end-to-end ownership of the financial administration for selected legal entities, working across the full accounting cycle from invoice processing to reporting. The role combines recurring month-end responsibilities with ad hoc analytical projects, providing a broad learning curve and strong professional development.

You will collaborate closely with a dynamic finance team responsible for the financial oversight of more than 80 stores across nine countries. This is a hybrid position (32–40 hours per week) based at Ace & Tate’s Amsterdam headquarters, ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.

Responsibilities

Verify and code invoices and route them for internal approval
Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger records
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and bank transactions
Perform month-end activities, including P&L reviews
Maintain professional relationships with vendors and resolve invoice queries
Process employee expense declarations and assist with payment runs
Act as a finance point of contact for store and HQ teams
Support fixed asset accounting where applicable
Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and business case support
Assist during annual audits and compliance reviews

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
1–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
Solid understanding of core accounting principles
Strong analytical mindset with confidence using Excel formulas
Experience with ERP systems; Odoo experience is a strong advantage
Ability to adapt, improvise, and work in a changing environment
Solution-oriented attitude and strong attention to detail
Excellent written and spoken English
