POSITION: Head of Marketing and Business Development

Job Description

This leadership role is pivotal for shaping the bank’s future. You will craft and execute integrated strategies that elevate our brand, engage customers, and unlock new revenue streams, all while staying true to our community-focused mission.

Key Responsibilities

As Head of Marketing and Business Development, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of strategic and operational duties:

Define and strengthen the bank’s brand identity, ensuring consistency and resonance across all customer touchpoints.
Design, implement, and manage end-to-end marketing campaigns across both digital and traditional channels.
Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, assess competitor activity, and uncover new business opportunities.
Proactively pursue growth by exploring new market segments, partnerships, and revenue-generating initiatives.
Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, community leaders, and strategic partners to support sustainable growth.
Lead the bank’s sales initiatives, directly contributing to increased deposits, loan uptake, and overall revenue.
Mentor and guide the marketing and business development team to achieve collective and individual targets.

Your Profile and Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing and business development strategies.
Strong understanding of brand management, customer engagement, and sales growth within the financial services sector.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
An analytical mindset with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans.
Leadership capability with a track record of driving team performance.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

A Master’s degree will be a significant advantage. We are looking for a results-oriented leader who combines creativity with strategic thinking. You should be passionate about rural banking, community development, and leveraging both traditional and modern approaches to achieve growth.
