About Weave A Life Vocational Training

Weave A Life Vocational Training is launching an exciting and transformative 6-month Livelihood Initiative. Our mission focuses on training and empowering the next generation of Master Artisans. We believe in equipping youth with practical skills that create sustainable livelihoods. Consequently, we need a passionate and organized Program Coordinator to lead this important work.

Position Overview

We are searching for a dedicated individual who will oversee daily training operations. In this role, you will manage materials and inventory with precision. You will also track trainee performance and coordinate with key stakeholders. Your efforts will ensure the program runs smoothly and efficiently from start to finish. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on young lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Training Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of daily training activities at our facility. You will ensure sessions proceed according to schedule and learning objectives.
  • Materials and Inventory Control: Manage all training materials and maintain accurate inventory records. You will track usage and coordinate timely replenishment.
  • Trainee Performance Monitoring: Observe and document trainee progress throughout the program. You will provide constructive feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Maintain strong communication with all program stakeholders, including trainers, partners, and community members. Your coordination will keep everyone aligned.
  • Youth Mentorship: Guide and mentor young trainees as they develop their artisan skills. You will model professionalism and encourage their growth.
  • Program Reporting: Prepare regular reports on program activities, trainee attendance, and outcomes. These reports will inform decision-making and future planning.
  • Scheduling and Logistics: Coordinate training schedules and manage logistical arrangements. You will ensure resources are available when needed.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • At least one year of experience in Program Management, Operations, or Vocational Training.
  • Degree or Diploma in Management, Social Work, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor youth with a firm but fair approach.
  • Must reside in Odorkor, Dansoman, or nearby communities for easy commute.
