POSITION: Business Development Executive
Persol Systems Limited is seeking a Business Development Executive to support sales growth and market expansion. As a Business Development Executive, you will not simply cold call; you will actively identify and research potential corporate clients, qualify inbound inquiries, maintain an organized CRM database, assist senior BDEs in preparing proposals and demonstrations, coordinate meetings with technical teams, represent Persol at networking events, and act as the primary point of contact during the discovery phase.
Key Responsibilities
Your role spans lead generation, sales support, client relationship management, and reporting. Here is what you will tackle:
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- You will actively identify and research potential corporate clients through cold calling, LinkedIn networking, and industry databases.
- Qualifying inbound inquiries to ensure they meet Persol’s ideal client profile.
- Maintaining an organized database of prospects within the CRM system.
Sales Support & Presentations
- You will assist senior BDEs in preparing tailored proposals, pitch decks, and technical demonstrations.
- Within 3 to 4 months, you should demonstrate at least two of our software products independently; within 6 to 9 months, all software products.
- Coordinating and scheduling meetings between prospective clients and technical or implementation teams.
- Representing Persol at local networking events and trade exhibitions to gather leads and build brand awareness.
Client Relationship Management
- You will act as the primary point of contact for prospective clients during the initial discovery phase.
- Following up consistently with leads to move them through the sales funnel.
- Supporting the onboarding process for new clients to ensure a smooth transition to the implementation team.
Reporting & Market Feedback
- You will keep a detailed log of all sales activities and provide weekly reports on lead status and conversion rates.
- Gathering feedback from the market regarding competitor pricing and feature requests to inform our product roadmap.
What You Bring to the Role
Education & Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- One to three years of experience in sales, telemarketing, or customer facing roles. Experience in a tech environment gives you a major plus.
Communication & Technical Skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to speak local Ghanaian languages gives you an advantage.
- Comfortable using CRM tools such as MS Dynamics, HubSpot, or Salesforce.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Attitude & Professionalism
- A hunter mindset with resilience to handle cold call rejections and the drive to meet monthly targets.
- Quick learning agility to understand the technical features of Persol’s software products including ERP, HR and Payroll, and 360Pay.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to represent a leading brand to C level executives and managers.

- Sales target achievement: Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets.
- Team performance: Improve performance of the sales team.
- Customer satisfaction: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
