Gold Fields Ghana Limited has an immediate opening for an experienced Control Room Operator. We seek a diligent individual to join our dynamic operations team. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for planning, controlling, and executing critical tasks according to our stringent procedural standards. This role is central to maintaining operational integrity and achieving our core production objectives.

Primary Role Responsibilities

As a Control Room Operator, you will ensure the seamless and safe execution of metallurgical processes.
Plan, control, and execute all assigned tasks meticulously to achieve safe production and quality targets.
Monitor the metallurgical process continuously and report any deviations promptly.
Achieve both qualitative and quantitative output goals through the efficient utilization of all available resources.
Initiate and promote cost-saving practices and productivity improvement initiatives.
Organize, coordinate, and adhere to all set controls in strict accordance with established procedures.
Maintain a safe and compliant working environment, ensuring engineering standards meet ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

You are a detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in a controlled operational environment.
Possess a minimum of a Senior High School Certificate.
Have at least three years of direct experience in a similar Control Room Operator position.
Demonstrate a clear and practical understanding of Control Room operations and protocols.
Hold a relevant and current Certificate of Competence for this role.
Exhibit well-developed oral and written communication skills in English.
Adopt a hands-on approach and show willingness to work the required long hours to achieve results.
Provide proof of medical fitness for the position and the mining environment.
Hold a valid light-duty vehicle driver’s license and demonstrate proficiency in driving.
