Job Details

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Weld following the required task at hand.
• To interpret the work plans to be generated, choose the welding wire and make the necessary equipment adjustments.
• Before and after welding, clean the pieces.
• Help the welder-fitter assemble the parts if needed.
• Assemble components—like jig assemblies—that don’t need a detailed work drawing.
• To maintain the property’s cleanliness and safety, maintain the workstation and the plant as a whole.
• Notify the proper parties of any significant equipment malfunctions, and if required, offer assistance with repairs and site safety.

• When handling parts, take advantage of jib and overhead cranes.
