POSITION: Business Development Executive
Job Description
MVTEX Science Industries brings over forty years of manufacturing excellence in high-quality laboratory equipment for educational and research sectors. As we strategically expand into Western Africa, we are seeking an enterprising and resourceful professional based in Ghana to drive our market entry initiative. This project offers an exceptional opportunity to partner with an established international company and shape our regional presence from the ground up.
Role Overview
This position serves as our local representative for a focused short-term project. You will conduct essential market intelligence, build initial client relationships, and directly support our leadership during an upcoming business visit. Outstanding performance during this engagement could lead to a permanent role as we establish our operations in Ghana.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will encompass several critical business development activities:
- Perform comprehensive market research to identify key companies and institutions in the laboratory equipment sector.
- Proactively identify and initiate contact with potential clients and distribution partners across Ghana.
- Schedule and confirm business meetings with qualified prospects before our company visit.
- Serve as the local representative and cultural liaison during our 10-day business trip in Ghana.
- Facilitate introductions, manage logistics, and support meeting coordination throughout the visit.
- Provide strategic insights on local market trends, competitor activities, and potential growth opportunities.
- Assist with follow-up communications and relationship management with new contacts.
Your Profile and Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who possesses:
- Strong understanding of Ghana’s business landscape and sales processes.
- Proven resourcefulness and confidence in initiating new business relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to travel within Accra and adapt to changing schedules.

Project Details
