POSITION: Lecturer and Teaching Staff

Darda Health Pre-University Ltd, located in Kasoa, Accra, is seeking dedicated Lecturers and Teaching Staff to join our academic team. This position involves teaching and motivating students at the pre-tertiary level, specifically helping them resit weak or failed Senior High School subjects while introducing foundational curricula for pre-health degree programs.

Job Summary and Core Mission

Your primary objective is to deliver high-quality instruction that prepares students for the West African Senior High School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE). You will blend core SHS subject teaching with introductory topics relevant to health sciences, thereby building a strong academic foundation for our learners.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for a comprehensive range of teaching and student development activities.

Teach at least three of the following subjects: Mathematics, Integrated Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Management in Living, Communication Skills, English Language, Social Studies, History, CRS, Government, or GKA.
Prepare students thoroughly for the WASSCE examinations using approved syllabi.
Develop detailed course outlines and teach based on the WAEC and Ghana Education Service (GES) syllabi for both secondary and business diploma courses.
Conduct regular student assessments, maintain accurate academic records, and evaluate performance through assignments, quizzes, and tests.
Provide academic counseling and organize micro-teaching sessions for students requiring additional support.
Plan and implement remedial curriculum activities for referred trainees to ensure no student is left behind.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in their chosen subject area or a closely related field.
Demonstrate fluency in the Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to adapt to new educational technologies.
Exhibit a wholehearted commitment to student engagement, success, and overall well-being as part of a collaborative team.
Possess a high level of professional maturity, integrity, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Show strong pedagogical skills, patience, and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse learners.

Location: This position is based at our campus in Kasoa, Accra.
