What You Need to Know About This Scholarship About
In the academic year 2025–2026, the Clore Fellowship Programme in the United Kingdom will be available to a maximum of two exceptional, gifted, and seasoned local arts administrators via the Scholarship.
The Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC), in partnership with Clore Leadership (CL) from the UK, provides this scholarship to cultivate the future leaders of the arts sector. The program includes a six to eight-week secondment in a cultural institution in the UK, as well as professional skills courses, workshops, mentoring, and coaching.
Scholarship recipients are given the opportunity to participate in the Clore Fellowship Programme, which is designed to help them develop their leadership skills, gain international experience, and prepare for the challenges of the modern world.
Eligibility Requirement
The program is perfectly suited for seasoned arts professionals who:
- Possess over 7 years of experience in the arts and cultural sector.
- Exhibit outstanding leadership capabilities, a clear strategic vision, and a deep enthusiasm for culture.

Scholarship Benefits
The scholarship offers extensive assistance for a maximum of 2 recipients, which includes:
- Financial Support: Every scholar is awarded funding of up to £17,750 to cover tuition, travel, accommodation, and additional expenses. The overall value of the scholarship amounts to £35,500 for each scholar.
- Leadership Training: A comprehensive five-month program featuring two UK residencies (September 2025 and May 2026) along with personalized development sessions designed to meet the unique needs of each scholar.
- Workshops and Mentorship: Intensive workshops, courses, and mentorship provided by experienced cultural leaders from the UK.
- Secondment: A placement lasting 6 to 8 weeks at a cultural institution located in the UK.
