France Mon Master 2025 Admissions Open

International students looking to obtain a Master’s degree in France can now submit their applications via the Mon Master platform, as the official application period has begun. After the general information session showcasing details on more than 8,000 Master’s degree programs, the application period is currently open until March 24, 2025.

What is Mon Master?

The Mon Master platform serves as the centralized application portal for students aiming to apply for the first year of a Master’s degree at recognized French universities. The platform provides a simplified application process, enabling students to submit their applications according to a nationally set timeline.

Who Should Apply through Mon Master?

Not every international student needs to apply via Mon Master. The students listed below are required to utilize the platform:

  • International students currently living in France or in a country within the EEA (European Union, Andorra, Switzerland, and Monaco included).
  • International students living in a nation NOT included in the Études en France procedure.
  • Nonetheless, students living in a country included in Études en France are required to apply via that platform instead.

Eligibility Requirements

To apply through Mon Master, students need to possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (three years of education) or be in the last year of their undergraduate program. The portal grants entry to programs resulting in the Diplôme National de Master (DNM) provided by recognized public and private institutions.

Programs That Are Included and Excluded from Mon Master

2. Programs Excluded from Mon Master:

Certain Master’s programs necessitate direct applications to colleges and are not offered on the Mon Master platform. This encompasses:

  • Programs from Sciences Po (Instituts d’Études Politiques), business schools (e.g., ESSEC, HEC), and select engineering institutions.
  • Journalism programs that mandate entrance tests.
  • Qualifications like the Mastère Spécialisé (Specialized Master) and MBA programs, do not correspond to a national Master’s degree.

How Admission Works

Once an application is submitted, committees evaluate applicants by examining their academic transcripts. If chosen, students will be given either:

  • An offer of admission (which they need to accept, postpone, or reject).
  • A spot on the waiting list (based on the seats available in the program).
  • A notification of rejection (if the application fails to satisfy program criteria).
  • Students with multiple offers must choose only one, while those who do not obtain a position can take part in the supplementary round in June-July 2025.
