We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

Job Title: Technical Writer

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the software and the documentation requirements
  • Prepare easy-to-understand user interface text, online help, FAQs, developer guides, user case studies and other contents for our end users
  • Create tutorials & demos to help end-users use a variety of applications
  • Create and maintain the information architecture

Requirements

  • Coachable person
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
  • Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
  • Excellent written skills in English,  French is an added advantage
  • Basic familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle and software development

Qualifications

Job Title: Director of Finance

Responsibilities

  • Determine need for & manage production of financial reports
  • Manage financial tracking systems
  • Lead team of finance & accounting staff
  • Act as an advisor to leadership team in relation to fundraising & investors

Job Title: Solutions Architect

Role

  • Become an expert on Mergdata and how to best deploy it.
  • Work hand-in-hand with Farmerline’s Sales organization to develop proof of concept applications, present technical demonstrations, and help Farmerline customers make the most of our offerings..
  • Provide structured feedback and work closely with Farmerline’s engineering teams.

Skills/Experience

  • A capable engineer, with previous background building web or mobile applications.
  • Experienced in full stack development and software architecture patterns, able to understand how a wide variety of technologies and systems interact with each other.
  • A great communicator, comfortable explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Interested in solving open ended business problems with a combination of technology and creative thinking.
  • Experienced working in the sales lifecycle and driving outcomes in a customer-facing environment.

Job Title: Product Manager

Role

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders in assessing their needs and define product or process requirements
  • Effectively coordinate between engineers, product managers and stakeholders to build tools and processes that empower teams to execute with efficiency
  • Manage each product from start to finish
  • Own the prioritized roadmap, including clear established milestones
  • Manage backlog of features and enhancements, and communicate timing and status to internal teams
  • Define and maintain KPIs to monitor impact of projects on productivity and the overall business

Skills

  • An experienced Product Manager (2+ years) or have equivalent experience
  • Experienced with roadmap creation and the prioritization of multiple projects

Responsibilities

  • Develops impactful, cost effective and scalable market access models for the cereals,plantain, vegetable and cocoa value chains.
  • Identifies and engages crop farmers and micro-entrepreneurs to aggregate farm produce at the right time while ensuring high quality and reducing post harvest losses.
  • Collaborates with other units to ensure all farmers receive adequate training, agro-inputs.
  • Coordinates the procurement of all off-taking and market-related logistics including storage and transportation
  • Deploys the Mergdata platform to predict yield, food quality and track produce sourcing.
  • Facilitates fair, timely and transparent payments to all farmers supplying to the micro-entrepreneurs and agribusinesses in Farmerline’s network.
  • Aggregates and distributes market prices from major markets to farmers in our network.
  • Implements proven post harvest practices to enhance the shelf life of farm produce.
  • Integrates successful parts of the market access model into Farmerline’s operations and partnerships across Africa.

Qualification

  • Knowledge of the systemic challenges in agriculture value chains in Ghana, a passion for creating lasting solutions to them and ability to navigate farming communities.
  • Project management skills and the ability to create and stick to timelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in agricultural science, agribusiness, supply chain management.
  • 3- 5 years of working experience in similar roles.
  • Strong research and field experience in maize, cocoa, plantain, sorghum is required
  • Proven experience in the use of mobile technology to facilitate market access.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Senior Associate, Global Partnerships & Development

Responsibilities

Partnership Development (70% FTE)

  • Research potential partners and prioritize and evaluate new corporate, development, foundation and government partnership prospects
  • Network at appropriate conferences, meetings, and other forums to promote Farmerline and develop potential opportunities
  • Build relationships with new potential partners
  • Assist in developing strategies and solutions that completely solve supply chain challenges of potential clients, and communicating these effectively through high-quality proposals and presentations
  • Write, edit, and prepare proposals and other materials for a range of funding opportunities and current partnerships

Partner Success (30% FTE)

  • Design and scale-up short pilots that demonstrate Farmerline’s value proposition
  • Ensures a seamless transition of customer responsibility to the designated Partner success team following a successful implementation
  • Work with the partner success or project management team to ensure all deadlines, proposals and reports are submitted on time
  • Turn exciting prospects into successful partnerships that create lasting profit for farmers everywhere
  • Identify opportunities for team process improvement, coordinating with team members to creatively solve problems and implement solutions

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience in fundraising and development or communications with a track record of successfully securing partnerships larger than $50,000
