About the role:
Enterfive/Versus is looking for a senior full stack developer to build new features within our product and maintain existing ones. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across frontend and backend applications, managing existing software products, as well as maintaining/implementing new backend APIs (Node.js, Python) and frontend (React).
The successful candidate will lead and mentor existing engineers to implement useful features and data visualizations. You will also collaborate with product teams to solve our clients problems.
What you will be doing:
- Write and deploy REST APIs in Node.js and Python
- Manage existing API endpoints written in both Python and Node.js
- Manage cron jobs written in Python for web scraping
- Deploying APIs to the Google Cloud Platform and manage them
- Interface with mobile application developers to design and develop their APIs
- Interface with BigQuery analytics data lake
- Interface with FireStore to write and read JSON objects
- Implement Firebase Authentication
- Interface with web developers to design and provide them with APIs
- Build and extend web interfaces as designed by the product team
- Design and implement PDF reports
- Write cron jobs to automate sending out PDF reports
- Collaborate with other teams- both inside and outside of engineering to better understand clients pain points
What you need to succeed:
- 5-7 years’ plus experience building applications using HTML5 and React
- 5-7 years’ plus experience with Node.js
- Experience with Firebase
- Prior experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, NoSQL e.g Firestore
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform is an advantage
