POSITION: Controller, Inventory – Ghana
The Role
As Herbalife’s inventory manager in Ghana, you will oversee the flow of goods across three dynamic locations: Accra, Kumasi, and the Agility bulk warehouse. Your mission? Ensures smooth operations, follows Herbalife’s established practices, and maintains compliance. Plus, get ready for new inventory projects headed by the EMEA Inventory Team!
Qualifications
How you might contribute:
- Monitoring inventory levels and replacing inventories as needed for all locations, working closely with the bulk warehouse representative at all times.
- Coordinating weekly cycle counts at all locations, ensuring that all requirements are met and policies are followed throughout the cycle count, as well as executing stock reconciliation at all locations.
- Analyse and reconcile any discrepancies reported from physical inventory, random audits, and daily operations in the ERP (Oracle) on a timely basis.
- Ensure that 100% of all inventories are tallied quarterly.
- Review inventory for all sites and confirm that it is in the correct status (expired products, negative stock, unreserved inventory) as per policy.
- Analysing and evaluating OBIEE supply chain data to identify and resolve issues.
- Examine order status to ensure no orders are older than 10 working days.
- Monitor outstanding NTS and ensure that all orders are immediately shipped, verified, and cleared from the system.
- Inform the logistics manager of any stock conditions or issues so that appropriate actions can be made as needed.
- Prepare a disposal approval form for approval at least quarterly.
- Main point of contact for courier-related inquiries, and verify courier bills to guarantee billing accuracy.
- Monitor the Herbalife Contact Management (HCM) application for complaints and collaborate with necessary stakeholders to ensure issues are rectified. Generate monthly reports on HCM shipping complaints.
- Assist with KPI report preparations, and present at a sub-regional monthly meeting call.
- Assist the Facilities Maintenance representative to ensure the H&S compliance standards are satisfied.
- Other duties and responsibilities as needed to guarantee efficient operations.
WHAT’S UNIQUE ABOUT THE TEAM
- A net accuracy rate of at least 99.7% on cycle count.
- Ensure that all modifications are reconciled and explained.
- Ensure a monthly 100% nation scan score by keeping orders under 10 days old and SKUs in the correct status.
- Ensure that all sales centres have 100% product availability for SKUs that are available locally.
- 100% of inventory is counted quarterly.
- Ensure that the disposal approval form is updated quarterly with the necessary analysis.
- Prepare and distribute expiry reports weekly, as well as outdated and ageing stock reports monthly.
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 2 warehouse operators

Experience
- Minimum of four years’ experience in inventory control.
- At least two years of experience as a team leader and competent team player.
- Basic understanding of project management
- Ability to prioritize job activities according to shifting priorities in a deadline-driven, fast-paced work environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education:
- Minimum HND in Purchases and Supply, Warehouse Management, Logistics, or any other business-related discipline.
