POSITION: Head of Marketing

Your Mission

You will take responsibility for developing and leading Aquantuo’s marketing strategy across all operating markets. Your role includes aligning marketing activities with revenue, route growth, retention, and brand objectives, identifying high potential routes and member segments for focused campaigns, strengthening brand positioning, planning and overseeing campaigns across routes and services, overseeing digital content, working closely with sales for lead generation, developing retention and reactivation campaigns, conducting market research, defining KPIs, leading the marketing team, and collaborating cross functionally.

Marketing Strategy & Growth

  • You will develop and lead Aquantuo’s marketing strategy across all operating markets.
  • Aligning marketing activities with revenue, route growth, retention, and brand objectives.
  • Identifying high potential routes, services, and member segments for focused campaigns.

Brand Positioning & Visibility

  • You will strengthen Aquantuo’s brand as a trusted, tech enabled cross border logistics and commerce partner.
  • Ensuring consistent messaging, tone, visuals, and positioning across all markets and channels.
  • Ensuring the brand promise, Fast. Simple. Borderless., reflects in marketing execution.

Campaign Planning & Execution

  • You will plan and oversee campaigns across Aquantuo’s routes, services, and markets.
  • Leading campaigns for e commerce, 3PL, Intra Africa, warehousing, shipping, customs support, last mile delivery, and value added services.
  • Ensuring campaigns are executed on time, aligned with business priorities, and measured for impact.

Digital Content & Communications

  • You will oversee content across social media, website, email, WhatsApp, blogs, webinars, newsletters, and digital campaigns.
  • Ensuring content is clear, accurate, member focused, and commercially relevant.
  • Guiding educational content around shipping processes, customs, documentation, timelines, pricing, delivery, and service options.

Lead Generation & Sales Enablement

  • You will work closely with Sales and Country Leads to generate qualified leads and support conversion.
  • Creating marketing materials that help sales teams explain Aquantuo’s services, routes, value proposition, and competitive advantage.

Member Engagement, Retention & Reactivation

  • You will develop campaigns that improve member engagement, retention, and reactivation.
  • Partnering with internal departments and Country teams to identify recurring member concerns and communication gaps.

Market Research & Competitive Intelligence

  • You will monitor competitor pricing, routes, campaigns, service promises, and positioning.
  • Using market insights to improve Aquantuo’s campaigns, sales support, and positioning.

Reporting & Analytics

  • You will define and track marketing KPIs across all markets.
  • Reporting on campaign performance, reach, engagement, inquiries, leads, conversions, reactivation, and route level impact.
  • Using data to guide decisions and improve marketing effectiveness.

Team Leadership

  • You will lead, coach, and manage the marketing team.
  • Building a culture of creativity, accountability, collaboration, consistency, and continuous improvement.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • You will work closely with all departments and leadership.
  • Ensuring marketing is aligned with operational capacity, route realities, pricing, service timelines, and member experience.

Marketing Operations & Documentation

  • You will maintain marketing calendars, campaign trackers, asset libraries, templates, reports, and brand guidelines.
  • Documenting campaign workflows, approval processes, reporting routines, and marketing procedures.
