POSITION: Credit Recovery/Marketing Officers

We need a self starter who can aggressively pursue recovery targets while simultaneously building the Dara Capital brand to attract quality clients.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary goal will be twofold. First, you will actively attract new clients within the Greater Accra Region by positioning our brand as the go to financial partner. Second, you will take ownership of our loan portfolio, ensuring we maximize recovery and keep arrears to an absolute minimum. You will be the bridge between our financial goals and our client’s success.

What You Will Do Every Day:

Develop and Execute Marketing Campaigns: You will plan and deliver innovative marketing campaigns, strictly adhering to agreed timelines. You won’t just follow orders; you will help shape the strategy.
Analyze the Competitive Landscape: Stay ahead of the curve by identifying shifts in the marketing environment. You will evaluate competitor strategies in your region and adjust our tactics accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
Master the Art of Recovery: Take full control of delinquent accounts. You will constantly execute collection procedures, ensuring every appropriate action is taken to facilitate full and prompt recovery.
Drive Performance: When performance dips, you will implement remedial actions immediately. Your proactive approach will keep our business objectives on track.
Maintain Administrative Excellence: You will handle all administrative duties related to collections with precision, ensuring every account is monitored daily and in line with our approved collections strategy.
Support the Big Picture: You will actively support our overall marketing objectives, representing Dara Capital both externally to clients and internally within our team structure.

Qualification and Experience

We need someone who is just as comfortable analyzing financial data as they are communicating with clients. You are a protector of the company’s assets and a promoter of its image.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Educational Background: A Higher National Diploma (HND) or a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven Experience: A minimum of two years working as a Credit Officer, with a clear track record of success in collections.
Essential Requirement: A valid Driver’s License is a must. You need the mobility to manage client relationships and field operations effectively.
Technical Knowledge: You possess excellent knowledge of loan application procedures and adhere to the best lending practices as defined by state laws and regulations. You are also comfortable working with loan management software.
Communication Excellence: You have strong communication skills and a history of proven customer service. You know how to handle difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy.
Analytical Prowess: You possess exceptional analytical skills, allowing you to dissect complicated financial data and make informed decisions.
Organization & Resilience: You are highly organized and can work well under pressure without missing a beat. You treat deadlines as promises.
Unquestionable Ethics: You will work with sensitive financial information, so you must demonstrate strong ethical behavior and integrity at all times.
