1 . 3D print hub
- Providing 3D printing services, support, and professional training
2 . 8×4 atmospheric boundary layer wind tunnel
- A purpose-built facility designed specifically to simulate flow fields associated with atmospheric winds
3 . 8×6 wind tunnel
- The 2.4 x 1.8m wind tunnel facility was designed to test and develop air vehicle performance
4 . Accident investigation facilities
- Cranfield’s accident investigation laboratory supports the work carried out in the Safety and Accident Investigation Centre
5 . Advanced Casting and Solidification Technologies
- Developing sustainable metal casting processes
6 . Advanced Complex Intake Test Facility
- Studying a variety of intake and propulsion integration aerodynamic aspects
7 . Aeronautics Centre
- We operate seven wind tunnels under the curatorship of the Aeromechanical Systems Group

- Manufactured as part of an Environmentally-Friendly Fire Suppression System for Cargo using an Innovative Green Technology project

- A specialized facility that is able to investigate human and biological remains in a safe and secure manner
12 . Boundary layer wind tunnel
- The BLWT is an open circuit, blow-down tunnel which was commissioned, designed, and built by the Aeromechanical Systems Group
13 . Breakthrough Innovation Hub
- Providing design, building, and testing spaces devoted to interdisciplinary research across science, engineering, and design
14 . Cabin evacuation facility
- Cranfield has two aircraft cabin simulators, a large Cabin Evacuation Simulator, and a narrow body Cabin Simulator
15 . Clean room
- We use our class 100,000 clean room to assemble spacecraft payloads for launch into space
