The Ministry of Gender, children and social protection has issued a press release calling on the Ghana Media Commission to ban Counselor Lutterodt from appearing on their shows also, strongly condemning his statement about rape he made on Adom TV.
The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection has joined the many in condemning the outspoken Counselor’s rape comment. In a letter signed by the sector minister yesterday for immediate release, it’s indicated that there’s no justification whatsoever for the counselor to make such comment live on Television or in private. They then called on the media commission to ban the counselor from appearing on their show.
The ministry further called on the Ghana Psychology Council to take appropriate action against the counselor for his beliefs on rape is disgusting. It was further addressed that counselor Lutterodt is a threat and danger to the general public. They called on all Ghanaians to join hands to condemn the act.
In conclusion, the ministry called on Counselor Lutterodt to unreservedly retract his unsubstantiated statement and apologize to the general public.

Few days ago in an interview on Adom TV, Counselor George Lutterodt emphasized that rape victims enjoy the act to some extent. The counselor explained that people who are raped don’t endure the pain throughout the whole period because it always gets to a time when the start to enjoy themselves in the act.
This statement caused many reactions as most people have debunked his statement.
Over 10,000 people have since signed a petition to get Counselor Lutterodt off the airwaves.
